RAICES 2026

Since 2019, Nuestra Creación has been a safe space for unseen and underrepresented creatives to advocate for themselves, uplift their voices and tell their stories through creativity.

RAÍCES 2026 is an invitation to deeply discover the roots that connect us. Our cultures carry histories of migration, ancestry, survival and movement. Whether we come from immigrant ancestry or are immigrants ourselves, our histories connect us back to our raíces.

This year feels especially important. In the middle of a political climate filled with discrimination, division and brutality toward our communities, RAÍCES is opening its doors to artists of all cultural backgrounds. This exhibition is an invitation to remember where we come from, honor what our ancestors carried with them and celebrate the different roots that continue to shape who we are today.
