Nuestra Creación presents our 8th Annual Exhibition celebrating Latin Heritage Month!

This year, RAÍCES is about exactly that our roots.

Latinoamérica and the Caribbean are made up of so many cultures, histories and identities. Our roots are Indigenous, Afro, Asian, Middle Eastern, European and so much more. Some of us are immigrants, some are children of immigrants, and some are reconnecting with where they come from.

This year we are bringing together 80+ artists from different backgrounds, generations and experiences to celebrate those stories through art.

At a time when we are seeing our histories, identities and heritage months being questioned, erased or pushed aside — from Black History Month, AAPI Heritage Month and Pride to our own Latin Heritage Month — we believe it is even more important to create space for each other.

And RAÍCES is more than an exhibition!

Throughout the month we are bringing together art, markets, community programming, workshops and ¡RISAS Y MÁS! our special comedy fundraising night featuring Latine-led comedy, a market, karaoke and more.

RAÍCES is about remembering where we come from while also celebrating the diverse community we are creating right here in Atlanta.
